Take a deeper look into CGT’s favorite varietal during a 45 minute behind-the-scenes winery tour and Riesling tasting. Participants will enjoy unfinished tank samples, vertical Riesling tasting, and food pairings showcasing the wide-ranging flavor profile of the grape. Previous vintage dated wines will be pulled from the library to offer a vertical tasting with current Riesling vintages. Sure to awaken the senses, this event will highlight why we truly love to grow and make Riesling in Northern Michigan.
Admission includes an in-depth winery tour, tank samples, Riesling tasting and light food pairings. Tour and tasting begins at 1pm, please arrive ten minutes prior and dress for our moderately cool wine cellar.

Jazz, art, food and fun will fill East Front. This popular community block party features a full slate of music, entertainment, food, demonstrations and family activities along the 100 and 200 blocks of East Front Street.
From July 26 to July 31, movie buffs are lured away from the beaches and golf courses with an outstanding selection of independent, foreign, and documentary films, as well as premieres, parties, panel discussions and lectures about the world of film at the annual Traverse City Film Festival.Most events are held near downtown -- at the vintage State Theatre, Bijou by the Bay, the City Opera House, and the Old Town Playhouse, but there are also many free festival opportunities including the family movies shown each night at an outdoor screen at the Open Space Park on the shore of West Grand Traverse Bay.
Traverse City Beer Week showcases a series of events highlighting this fabulous craft beer scene. From November 11th to the 17th, there are seven days of craft beer tastings, dinners and workshops. Get a pint or a sample, meet with brewers and brewery representatives and learn more about our incredible beer state of Michigan.
